At Navigans Voyages Private Limited, we aim to offer seamless and transparent travel experiences. However, we understand that plans may need to change. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, amendments, and refunds are handled across all our travel services.
This policy applies to all bookings made through Navigans, whether online, offline, or through our agents.
1. General Cancellation Policy
All cancellations are governed by the policies of the respective service providers, including:
- Airlines
- Hotels & resorts
- Tour operators
- Cruise companies
- Visa and insurance partners
- Transportation providers
Navigans acts as an intermediary and adheres strictly to supplier rules.
2. Cancellation By Customer
If a traveller wishes to cancel a booking:
- The applicable cancellation charges as per airline/hotel/provider will be deducted.
- Navigans service fees and convenience charges are non-refundable.
- Refundable amount (if any) is calculated only after receiving confirmation from the supplier.
2.1 No-Show
If the traveller does not show up:
- The booking is considered non-refundable.
- No refunds apply for missed flights, unused hotel nights, or unutilised services.
2. Cancellation By Navigans
In rare cases, Navigans may be required to cancel a booking due to operational, safety, or external factors.
In such cases, you will receive:
- A full refund, OR
- An alternate arrangement of equivalent value (subject to your acceptance)
Navigans is not liable for any additional or consequential expenses resulting from such cancellations.
4. Refund Process & Timelines
Refunds follow these guidelines:
4.1 Processing Time
Refund timelines depend on suppliers and payment partners:
- Airline refunds: 10–21 working days
- Hotel refunds: 7–14 working days
- Package/tour refunds: 7–30 working days
- Visa/insurance fees: non-refundable unless otherwise stated
Navigans will process the refund only after receiving the supplier’s refund.
4.2 Mode of Refund
Refunds will be issued to the original mode of payment unless agreed otherwise.
4.3 Partial Refunds
Partially used tickets or services generally have no refund value unless supplier policy explicitly allows it.
5. Amendments / Rebooking
Changes to an existing booking may include:
- Date or schedule changes
- Route changes
- Name correction
- Upgrades
- Adding or removing services
Amendments are subject to:
- Airline/hotel/tour operator policies
- Fare differences (if applicable)
- Navigans service fees
No guarantee can be given that requested changes will be accepted by the supplier.
6. Non-Refundable Bookings
The following are always non-refundable:
- Promo fares and discounted tickets
- Visa fees and processing charges
- Travel insurance fees
- No-show bookings
- Partially used services
- Activities/tours cancelled within deadline
- Bookings explicitly marked “Non-Refundable”
7. Force Majeure Events
No refunds apply for cancellations caused by events beyond our control such as:
- Natural disasters
- Weather disruptions
- Political unrest
- Strikes and labour issues
- Pandemic situations
- Government restrictions
- Technical failures of airlines or hotels
Refunds, if any, will depend solely on the supplier’s policy.
8. Special Requests & Exceptions
Requests for exceptions due to medical emergencies, bereavement, or unavoidable circumstances:
- Will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Are subject to supplier approval
- May require supporting documents
Navigans cannot guarantee exceptions.
